Pictures and pictorial expressions have always interested me and for a period of my youth I threw myself into painting and drawing. However, I'm too lazy - it's going too slow. A painting takes many hours to make. A photo can be shot in under a second. And yet, after the shoot, there is usually something to discover or refine. Details, compositions, patterns, colors, meaning and context. I often spend a lot of time exploring and editing my shots. Photoshop is my brush and my palette. Often I shoot without quite knowing what I want but I find out when I see on my screen what my camera has seen.
